Brought to Life

Dormant since college, the need to create crept up on me again about a year or so ago.  After graduation, I had been so focused on pursuing a career as an art educator that I nearly forgot how it felt to have that nagging urge, relentlessly steering me toward pen and paper, paint and canvas.  So, I set up an artistic workspace in the living room of our cluttered condo, at last using my drafting table as something other than a computer desk.  Like finally scratching an unreachable itch, it was a literal sigh of relief to release all that pent up creative energy after such an extended absence.  And now, as I repeatedly return to that table, new projects and ideas beg to be brought to life.
